A real fix · our own website
No mail app.
No way to finish.
Our contact form opened an email app. Visitors using only webmail had no copyable draft. We added a second way to finish the enquiry.

The small change
Before
Enter your details → open an email app. No installed handler? The page offered no selectable email draft.
After
Open your email app or copy the draft into webmail. The recipient, subject and message match in both paths.
The visitor still sends the email. Opening or copying a draft does not send it.
We kept the entered fields, added a keyboard-accessible disclosure and provided manual selection if clipboard access fails.
What we checked
- The email link, visible draft and copied text match.
- Changing the fields clears the previous copy confirmation.
- The draft opens and its next action is reachable by keyboard.
- The layout fits 320px and 1280px browser widths; light and dark appearances were reviewed.
Not tested: sending, inbox receipt or a physical phone. We did not measure lost enquiries or a sales increase.

Try this on your website
Without sending anything, check what happens when your email app cannot open. Can a webmail user keep their text, find the recipient and finish the enquiry?
If your site sends messages itself, follow our form-to-inbox troubleshooting guide instead. A working button is only one part of that journey.
